The Issues
Transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of good governance, especially in public education. School board members must respect the input of parents and operate with transparency when considering decisions that concern our kids’ education. I will work to restore parental rights in our educational system.
As your school board representative, I will ensure our kids experience age appropriate curriculum. We must permanently remove sexual orientation education from our schools and give parents the right to opt-in (verses opt-out, which can embarrass students) to sexual health classes in high school with full transparency of curriculum so that parents can make an informed decision.
I will also work to permanently remove Critical Race Theory (CRT) from being taught in our schools at any age. Children need to be taught basic education, learn how to respect one another, and not teach that one person is an oppressor and another the oppressed. Instead, lets teach respect despite race, gender or abilities.
Parents should have the right to decide if their children will be vaccinated or will wear a mast to school. I will work everyday to ensure parent’s voices are heard and respected. I do not support government mandates on our children. Parents should be the ultimate decision makers on what is best for their child. Each child is a unique individual with varying physical, emotional and physiological needs.
Our children need to learn math, spelling, writing, how to read, communicate without anger, understand real science and know America’s true history. It’s time to get back to the basics and teach reading, writing and math!
